This book explores the potential of digital tools for the documentation, management, and valorisation of railway masonry bridges. By means of a multi-disciplinary approach, archival research, high-resolution surveying and H-BIM approach are used synergistically for systematic information building and intelligible fruition of cultural heritage. In this context, the masonry bridges of the Circumetnea Railway (Catania, Italy), deeply embedded in the Etnean landscape and territorial identity, represent an archetypical case study, interpreted with the presented approach as both infrastructural artefacts and cultural landmarks.
